Hong Seung-chan, a wrestler affiliated with Mungyeong City Hall, has become the Taebaek champion.
On the 31st, Hong Seung-chan defeated Heo Seon-haeng (Suwon Special City Hall) at the Withus Pharmaceutical 2025 Mungyeong Dano Championship Wrestling Tournament held at the Mungyeong Indoor Gymnasium in Gyeongsangbuk-do, rising to the position of Taebaek champion.
In the semifinals, Hong Seung-chan defeated Park Seok-ho (MG Saemaul Geumgo Wrestling Team) with a successful slap and a belly throw, winning 2-0. In the Taebaek championship final, he faced Heo Seon-haeng and won the first round with a belly throw.
In the second round, he was defeated by a belly throw. However, he succeeded in executing belly throws consecutively in the third and fourth rounds, winning 3-1. Hong Seung-chan celebrated his third title as Taebaek champion.
