The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency on the 29th in the fifth-floor conference room of the police agency to create a safe Chungbuk from crime and accidents.
This agreement was conducted with the attendance of key officials, including Kim Taek-soo, the head of the national training center, and Kim Hak-gwan, the chief of the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency. The two organizations agreed to work together to create a safe environment for preventing crime and accidents, and to promote mutual understanding and cooperation through various efforts. In particular, they plan to collaborate in various areas, including ▲educational training and campaigns to prevent various accidents, ▲training and education to enhance on-site response capabilities, and ▲operating programs to enhance mutual understanding between the two organizations.
Kim Taek-soo, the head of the national training center, noted that "this agreement is a valuable starting point for upholding the public value of crime prevention and social safety," and expressed hope that "it will provide an opportunity for national representatives to prepare more effectively for various accidents."
Kim Hak-gwan, the chief of the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency, remarked that "the collaboration between elite athletes and the police will serve as a good example in building a safety network for the community," adding, "In particular, I ask for the active cooperation of the national training center in the education and training aimed at enhancing police on-site response capabilities."
Meanwhile, right after the signing ceremony, Kim Taek-soo, the head of the national training center, and other key officials visited the Chungbuk Police Agency's 112 Comprehensive Situation Room, the Scientific Investigation Division, and the Traffic Information Center, spending time experiencing the police's key operations firsthand.
