Professional baseball NC Dinos manager Lee Ho-jun expressed joy at finally returning to the home stadium, NC Park.

Lee Ho-jun said during an interview before the game against the SSG Landers at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 29th, 'I am finally going home. I need to clean my house first.'

NC was unable to play games at its home stadium due to a fatal accident caused by a structure (louver) falling at NC Park on March 29. Since the 17th, they have used Ulsan Munsu Stadium as a temporary home stadium for home games, but it was not their original home stadium, making it feel like an away game.

After living a wandering life for a long time, NC will finally return to its home stadium when NC Park reopens on the 30th. They are scheduled to play a three-game weekend series against Hanwha at NC Park.

'It's the same for the players. I rarely got to go home,' said Lee Ho-jun, who noted, 'After the last game in Ulsan, I went home for the first time in a long time and slept for two days. I came home after a long time and did some mopping, and I wondered how the mop could get so dirty. All the water in the toilet disappeared,' he said with a laugh.

After a long time, Lee Ho-jun, who could finally enter the manager's office at NC Park, said, 'I bought an expensive massage chair and speakers but couldn't use them until now. I also packed the refrigerator with plenty of food. Since the expiration date is long, it should still be good.' He added, 'I think I’ll have to throw away things like eggs and milk at home.'

Regarding the NC Park accident, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that they would hold a safety enhancement meeting at the baseball stadium on the 30th. Upon hearing this news, Lee Ho-jun said, 'I read in today’s newspaper that it seems there will be an investigation related to the baseball stadium. I was really worried that there might be another problem with the stadium that would prevent us from going.'

After a long time of having to play away games, NC players will finally return to their home stadium. 'I believe the players' performance will improve as well,' said Lee Ho-jun. 'They will be able to rest at home and prepare for games according to their routines. If there are any shortcomings, they can come out early to practice. In fact, there are slight differences in ABS at each stadium, and since we kept playing away games, we had to continuously adapt to those changes, which was difficult. The accommodations kept changing, so the players probably couldn't really relax comfortably after the games. Now we can play with full performance after returning to our home stadium,' he expressed hope that the players would show excellent performance.

'It's a phrase we often use, but players live on the love of fans,' chuckled Lee Ho-jun. 'Returning to the home stadium and receiving the support of home fans will energize the players even more,' he noted, expressing gratitude to the fans who supported them even in difficult situations.

On this day, NC formed the starting lineup of Choi Jung-won (2nd baseman)-Kim Joo-won (shortstop)-Kwon Hee-dong (left fielder)-Matt Davidson (designated hitter)-Park Geon-woo (right fielder)-Cheon Jae-hwan (center fielder)-Song Seung-hwan (1st baseman)-An Joong-yeol (catcher)-Kim Hwi-jip (3rd baseman). The starting pitcher is Logan Allen.
