Lee Kang-in (24) of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) emphasized the importance of teamwork ahead of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) victory.

PSG (France) will face Inter Milan (Italy) in the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League final at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, at 4 a.m. (Korea time) on June 1.

Lee Kang-in noted on the club's official website on the 29th, "We have shown good performance throughout the season. The journey to reach the final itself holds great significance. I am very happy," and added, "I will do my best until the end. I want to finish the season with a victory."

He cited 'a united team' as a key factor in PSG's success this season.

Lee Kang-in emphasized, "The players helped each other and moved toward a single goal. That aspect created the current results," adding, "This unity will lead to the best outcome."

This season, PSG achieved a domestic treble, winning the French Ligue 1, Super Cup, and French Cup. Now, they are determined to dominate European football with a UCL victory.

If Lee Kang-in wins, he will become the second Korean player to win the Champions League, following Park Ji-sung. Park Ji-sung experienced UCL victory with Manchester United (England) during the 2007-2008 season; however, he did not make the final match roster that year.

After that, Park Ji-sung reached the final stage twice, and Son Heung-min (Tottenham) also appeared in the final during the 2018-2019 season, but all finished as runners-up.

If Lee Kang-in plays in the final and secures the UCL title, he would be the first Korean player to do so. However, Lee Kang-in's participation in the UCL final remains uncertain as he has been on the bench for four consecutive matches since the second leg of the round of 16.
