The professional baseball team LG Twins recorded sold-out crowds for all three midweek games against Hanwha Eagles.

LG recorded a full house of 25,000 spectators in the season's eighth matchup against Hanwha Eagles at Seoul's Jamsil Stadium on the 29th. All tickets were sold out an hour before the game started. The LG organization informed, "A total of 23,750 spectators were recorded, and the tickets sold out at 5:24 p.m. This is the 18th home game sellout for LG Twins in the 2025 season."

Whenever LG meets Hanwha, it results in a 100% sellout this season. LG recorded sellouts in all eight matchups against Hanwha, regardless of location. The matchup between these popular teams is the top drawing card.

LG recorded three consecutive sellouts in the three-game midweek series against Hanwha from March 25-27. This time, they succeeded in selling out all three games of another midweek series.

LG and Hanwha also recorded sellouts (17,000 spectators) for the two games held at Daejeon's Hanwha Life Eagles Park from April 29-30. The game on May 1 was canceled due to rain.

LG surpassed a total attendance of 600,000 in 28 home games. With 618,820 spectators, the average attendance is 22,101. The seat occupancy rate is 93%.

LG set a record with 1,397,499 spectators (an average of 19,144) in home games last year, breaking the KBO League's all-time single-season attendance record. The previous record was 1,380,018 spectators set by the Lotte Giants in 2009.

On the other hand, Hanwha's starting lineup includes outfielders Hah Joo-seok and Moon Hyun-bin, infielder Roh Si-hwan, and designated hitter Ahn Chi-hong, along with catcher Lee Jae-won and infielder Lee Do-yoon.

LG's starting lineup consists of outfielders Moon Sung-ju and Kim Hyun-soo, first baseman Austin, designated hitter Moon Bo-gyeong, infielder Oh Ji-hwan, catcher Lee Ju-heon, and second baseman Shin Min-jae.

The starting pitcher for LG is Son Ju-yeong. He has appeared in 10 games this season, recording a 5-3 win-loss record with an earned run average of 4.13. The starting pitcher for Hanwha is the foreign player Wise. He has pitched in 11 games this year, achieving a 7-2 record with an earned run average of 3.50.
