The Korea Mountaineering Federation noted that Lee Dohyun, a national representative in sports climbing from South Korea, won a bronze medal at the '2025 IFSC Climbing Salt Lake City Boulder World Cup.'

This competition was held from 23rd to 25th (local time) in Salt Lake City, U.S., as the third IFSC Boulder World Cup of the 2025 season, where fierce competition was depicted by 124 athletes from 28 countries worldwide (57 women, 67 men).

Lee Dohyun topped all the problems (5 problems) in the qualifying round but finished second due to the number of attempts on the third problem. In the semifinals, he topped 3 problems to score 74.5 points, ranking second, and in the finals, he topped 2 out of 4 problems, achieving 69.5 points and finishing the competition in third place.

After the competition, Lee Dohyun said, "All the bouldering problems required a lot of strength, but I did my best and I am very satisfied with myself."

The national representatives of South Korea who participated in this competition included Lee Dohyun (3rd place) in men's bouldering, and O Gayoung (21st place) and Jeong Yejin (35th place) in women's bouldering.

Meanwhile, the speed national team is expected to participate in the '2025 IFSC Sports Climbing Denver Speed World Cup,' which will take place in Denver, U.S. from 31st to June 1st.

The bouldering national team is expected to compete in the '2025 IFSC Sports Climbing Prague Boulder World Cup' held in Prague, Czech Republic from June 6th to 8th.
