KIA Tigers player Choi Won-jun recorded three walks in the Futures League, showcasing his 'advanced batting technique.'

Choi Won-jun started as the number one right fielder in the game against Sangmu on the 27th at Hampyeong. He did not record any hits but selected three walks, finishing the game with 3 at-bats, no hits, 3 walks, and 1 run.

Choi Won-jun came to bat as the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the first inning, facing Sangmu's starting pitcher Bae Je-seong. He hit four consecutive foul balls in a full count and chose a ball on the 10th pitch, reaching base with a walk. Following that, Byeon Woo-hyeok and Lee Yeong-jae also reached base with walks, creating a bases-loaded situation with one out, but Choi Jeong-yong and Seo Geon-chang both struck out, failing to score.

Sangmu seized a no-out, bases-loaded opportunity in the bottom of the first inning, scoring 3-0 with a one-RBI single from Kim Jae-sang and a two-RBI single from Park Chan-hyeok.
