The Busan KCC EGIS professional basketball team (Director General Choi Hyung-gil) announced on the 28th that it has completed the signing of free agent (FA) Heo Hoon (30, 180 cm) for a contract period of 5 years, with a total remuneration of 800 million won (annual salary of 650 million won, and incentives of 150 million won).
Heo Hoon, who joined the pro league as the overall first pick in the 2017 KBL rookie draft, was named regular season MVP in the 2019-2020 season, and he ranked first in assists for two consecutive years in the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, establishing himself as a leading point guard in KBL.
With the signing of Heo Hoon, who possesses excellent game management skills, speed, and shooting ability as a point guard, stability in game operations, scoring ability, and a balanced offense and defense are expected to improve.
