Interest in Lee Kang-in (24) of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is growing among clubs.

On the 25th (Korea time), transfer market expert Ekrem Konur noted on his social media account that "AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli are watching Lee's situation. PSG has set a transfer fee of about €40 million to €50 million (approximately 62.2 billion to 77.8 billion won) for Lee."

He also added, "There is interest from Premier League and Bundesliga clubs in Lee."

Napoli, which lifted the Serie A trophy this season, has announced a massive player acquisition in the summer transfer market, and it appears that Lee is included in the list.

Previously, on the 9th, the Italian regional media 'Napoli Piu' also reported that Napoli is aiming to acquire Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City, mentioning Lee's name in the process. The prominent Italian sports newspaper 'Corriere dello Sport' analyzed, "Napoli is targeting Lee. Born in 2001 and a left-footed player, he perfectly fits Napoli's plans as a midfielder capable of covering all three positions." 'Napoli Calcio' also evaluated, "Manager Antonio Conte is paying attention to Lee's outstanding technique. His primary position is attacking midfielder, but he can also be utilized as a second striker and right winger."

Lee has previously been connected to Napoli during last summer's transfer market. At that time, PSG was pushing to acquire Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, but Napoli presented Lee along with several other players as exchange cards. The negotiations fell through when PSG did not accept this.

Lee has completely fallen behind in the competition for a starting position this season. Coach Luis Enrique is primarily utilizing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, and Bradley Barcola for the wing attack. The midfield has solidified with the combination of Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, and João Neves.

Therefore, Lee's participation in the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan on the 1st of next month is uncertain. He has only played 19 minutes during extra time in the round of 16 against Liverpool since the tournament began. He missed both matches in the quarterfinals against Aston Villa and both matches in the semifinals against Arsenal.

Lee also could not participate in the Coupe de France final against Stade de Reims on the 25th of the 2024-2025 season. He participated in the victory celebrations.

Interest in him is not limited to Serie A. Arsenal in the Premier League is also reported to have joined the race to acquire Lee.

The British 'The Sun' reported on the 6th that "Mikel Arteta has been keeping an eye on Lee since January. Newly appointed sports director Andrea Berta has begun assembling a team for Lee."

Berta has been watching Lee since his time at Atletico Madrid. However, at that time, Lee chose PSG.

Meanwhile, there is a view that Lee's recent activities on social media hint at a transfer. He has removed the phrase 'PSG' from his Instagram profile. Some fans interpret this as a signal of an imminent transfer.

However, there are also opinions that this is a hasty speculation, especially since other information, such as references to South Korea, was also removed.
