Seoul Samsung has signed guard Han Ho-bin (34) and forward Lee Geun-hwi (27) as free agents (FA).

Samsung announced on the 26th that they have acquired Han Ho-bin and Lee Geun-hwi as FA. Han Ho-bin left Ulsan Hyundai Mobis to sign a new contract with Samsung for 3 years, with a salary of 300 million won (an annual salary of 240 million won and 60 million won in incentives).

Han Ho-bin has been playing for Goyang ORION since the 2013-2014 season and joined Hyundai Mobis last May via a sign-and-trade deal. After completing a one-year contract, he obtained FA status and will join Samsung. Last season, he averaged 3.6 points, 1.9 assists, and had a 3-point shooting percentage of 32.4% over 52 games.

Lee Geun-hwi, who played for Busan KCC until last season, signed a contract with Samsung for 3 years with a salary of 320 million won (an annual salary of 256 million won and 64 million won in incentives). He played for KCC for four seasons starting from the 2021-2022 season, averaging 5.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, and a 3-point shooting percentage of 40.1% last season over 52 games.

Samsung, which has recorded the dishonorable record of being at the bottom for four consecutive seasons in professional basketball, is determined to achieve different results through strengthening its roster. The Samsung club expects Han Ho-bin to contribute to stable operations as a reliable veteran guard. Lee Geun-hwi is expected to have a scoring impact after being signed, as he possesses one of the best 3-point shooting percentages in the league.
