The winning prize of 500 million won for the Korean national title went to Thailand's Sadom Kaewkanjana (26).

Sadom Kaewkanjana received the championship trophy with a total score of 7 under par 277 (69-69-69-70) at the ‘KOLON 67th Korean Open Golf Championship’ held on the 25th at the Ravivelle Country Club Dunes Course (par 71/7426 yards).

This tournament, co-hosted by the Korea Golf Association and KOLON, had a total prize money of 1.4 billion won (with the winner's prize being 500 million won) and awarded the winner a spot in the 'DIO Open Championship.'

The tournament winner, Sadom Kaewkanjana, turned professional in 2018 and has recorded two victories on the Asian Tour (2019 Bangabandhu Cup Golf Open, 2022 SMBC Singapore Open). Sadom Kaewkanjana reduced his score by one stroke on the final day of the Korean Open, making four birdies and three bogeys.

In this tournament, the performance of Thai players stood out.

The runner-up, Poom Saksansin, is also of Thai nationality. Poom Saksansin started the final day as the solo leader at 7 under par but lost two strokes with two birdies, one double bogey, and two bogeys for a final total of 5 under par.

Among Korean players, Yoo Song-kyu achieved the best result, finishing in solo third with a total score of 3 under par. Yoo Song-kyu even led solo after the second round but failed to secure the victory.
