A frenzy bus victory parade was held.

Tottenham held an open-top bus parade on the streets of North London on the 24th (Korea Standard Time) to celebrate their victory in the UEFA Europa League (UEL). The team moved from Edmonton to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, raising the trophy and enjoying the moment with fans.

On the 22nd, Tottenham won 1-0 against Manchester United in the 2024-2025 UEL final held at Estadio San Mamés in Bilbao, Spain, lifting the official tournament trophy for the first time in 17 years since the League Cup in the 2007-2008 season. This was a landmark achievement, marking the first time in 41 years since the UEFA Cup in the 1983-1984 season in European club competitions.

The British media "Daily Mail" described the scene, saying, "The parade route was filled with a festive atmosphere. Fans secured their spots and waved flags, bursting blue and white smoke bombs and climbing on traffic lights and street lamps from hours before the start." About 150,000 fans gathered.

The players wore shirts with the number 25 and rode the bus for two hours. At 7:30 p.m. local time, the bus arrived at the stadium, and the players took the stage to sing the chant "When the Spurs Go Marching In" with the fans.

In front of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, manager Ange Postecoglou held the microphone and emphasized, "I said I would win in the second year, but everyone laughed. They didn’t believe it. Yet here we are celebrating our victory. It is due to incredible people, staff, heroes, and 'legend' Son Heung-min, Christian Romero, James Maddison, and Guglielmo Vicario. Everyone is a hero," stating that "Tottenham deserves to win."

He also noted, "There’s a saying that season 3 is more entertaining than season 2."

At the beginning of the season, Postecoglou confidently stated, "I always win a trophy in my second year," and he kept that promise.

Son Heung-min noted, "It’s my first time in 10 years since I joined Tottenham. The fans have been here with us from the beginning to now," adding, "Two days went by too quickly. It was only joy and happiness. I waited and waited for this moment. I’m glad it happened while wearing a Tottenham jersey. No one had done it in 17 years, but our team did. I’m proud. It’s a great fortune that this happened while I was captain. I can't express it all in words."

The victory holds special meaning for Son Heung-min, who missed the starting lineup against Manchester United due to a foot injury last month but came on as a substitute in the second half to help maintain the team’s 1-0 lead. Having made his professional debut in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV in 2010, he embraced a trophy for the first time in 10 years after joining Tottenham in 2015.

"Vice-captain" Maddison joked, "I’m the CEO of the after-party," and said, "Wednesday night was one of the best nights of my life. We shed the 'trophyless' label. We will remember this night even 50 years from now. Coming to this club was the best decision I ever made."

Micky van de Ven, who cleared Rasmus Hojlund's header off the goal line in the final, shared his feelings, saying, "I barely slept. Emotions are overwhelming. It was a really tough season, but we finally got the trophy. I want to experience winning again. I want to achieve the same thing next season."

Johnson, who celebrated his 24th birthday, expressed, "I know how sincere the fans are. This victory exceeded expectations."

Goalkeeper Vicario stated, "It’s really crazy. I only slept two hours, but it was worth it for the fans. I can’t believe what we accomplished."

Tottenham did not hold a parade for their League Cup victory in 2008. They only showed the trophy to fans before the UEFA Cup match against PSV. In 1991, when they won the FA Cup, they held a parade around the old White Hart Lane stadium.

"Daily Mail" explained, "Despite finishing 17th in the Premier League this season, which was disappointing, Tottenham completely turned the season around with their UEL victory."

However, it also noted that, "Postecoglou’s future remains uncertain. There is a year left on his contract, but rumors are swirling that Daniel Levy is considering alternatives, including Marco Silva of Fulham." It mentioned that "Postecoglou seemed resigned regarding his future the day before the final, and players also refrained from discussing it. Only Son Heung-min indirectly highlighted the need for his continued presence by saying, 'The one who brought the trophy is the manager.'"
