Ulsan, showcasing formidable firepower, scored three goals in the second half, achieving a thrilling comeback victory.

Ulsan Hyundai defeated Gimcheon Sangmu 3-2 in the 15th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2025 held at Ulsan Munsu Stadium on the 24th. With 26 points, Ulsan surged to third place, while Gimcheon (25 points) dropped to fourth.

Ulsan deployed a 4-4-2 formation. The two-top of Eric and Yoon Jae-seok was supported by Go Seung-beom, Jung Woo-young, and Boyanich in midfield, along with Lee Chung-yong. The backline consisted of Rubikson, Kim Young-kwon, Seo Myung-kwan, and Kang Sang-woo, with Jo Hyun-woo as the goalkeeper.

The first goal was scored by Gimcheon. In the 30th minute of the first half, Lee Dong-gyeong struck first against his former team Ulsan, celebrating his goal. Ulsan came alive in the second half. In the 72nd minute, Eric scored a penalty to bring his team back into the game. The scorer was Eric. In the 87th minute, Eric connected with a cross from the right by Eom Won-sang, heading it into the corner where the goalkeeper could not reach it. Eric recorded his sixth and seventh goals in a single match.

Eom Won-sang finished the match. In the 89th minute, Boyanich's long pass was received by Park Min-seo, who set it up in front of goal. Eom Won-sang processed the ball with his left foot to score the decisive goal.
