The Korea Professional Football League held the second K League Academy accounting course and HR course from the 20th to the 21st at Seoul Square in Jung-gu, Seoul.

This course, which was designed to enhance the capabilities of accounting and HR personnel in the K League, was attended by approximately 50 practitioners from all K League clubs.

On the first day of the accounting course, the club licensing team of the league demonstrated how to use the 'financial manager' and then club officials practiced using it themselves. The 'financial manager' is a database system related to the financial stabilization of the K League, which is expected to be formally introduced next year after a pilot operation this year.

In the second session, accountant Lee Jae-yong from Finders explained 'the commonalities of successful corporations - B mainstream economics,' covering accounting information and operational flows from various industries, including coffee, distribution, and fashion.

The final lecture concluded the first day of the accounting course, with Commissioner Han Seong-wook from TexNet introducing frequently occurring accounting treatment cases and tax considerations in a Q&A format on the topic of 'core evidence processing by case.'

The following day, the HR course featured labor attorney Jeong Ho-young from Yedam HR Consulting, partner Seo Hae-dong from the HR platform company 'Flex,' and CEO Kim Jae-sun from J&Company as speakers.

In the first session, labor attorney Jeong Ho-young discussed '2025 Employment Labor Policy Directions,' analyzing ▲ the latest HR labor cases and ▲ managing recruitment and employment contracts.

In the second lecture, partner Seo Hae-dong explained ▲ how organizations achieve performance and ▲ reviewed the 2024 K League standard performance management system and the 2025 K League standard competency system project.

The 'K League standard competency system' systematically categorizes the competencies necessary for K League members to effectively perform their duties, based on which the league plans to enhance the specialization of K League members by advancing the 'K League Academy.' The league and Flex plan to execute the K League standard competency system project together with club practitioners over the next six months.

Finally, in the third lecture, CEO Kim Jae-sun explained 'understanding organizational culture and diagnostic methodologies' based on 20 years of HR experience and held a Q&A session with club HR personnel.

The league has been continuously implementing the 'K League Academy' program since 2013, which offers customized training programs aimed at K League members, including this accounting and HR course. The league plans to further enhance the capabilities of K League club officials through lectures related to club administrative practices and case sharing.
