FC Barcelona continues its collaboration with Hansi Flick (60).

FC Barcelona officially announced the re-signing of Hansi Flick on the 22nd (Korean time) through the club's official channel. The contract is valid until 2027.

Flick took over the management of Barcelona in May last year as the successor to Xavi Hernandez. Since then, he has quickly infused his style into the team, achieving La Liga championship in the 2024-2025 season, reaching the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, winning the Copa del Rey, and taking home the Supercopa de España.

Barcelona noted that "the club has agreed to extend the contract with Flick. With this re-signing, Flick will lead Barcelona until June 30, 2027."

It added that "Flick signed the contract with club president Joan Laporta, first vice president Rafa Yuste, and Deco at the club's office on the 21st (local time)."

Barcelona highlighted that "Flick delighted Barcelona fans from his first season. His attitude infused into the team, memorable goals, dramatic comebacks, and visible achievements like trophies transformed Barcelona into one of the strongest teams in Europe, alongside the invisible 'hope' he instilled."

It continued, "That journey began with a victory at Mestalla on August 18. At that time, Barcelona made a comeback to win the match, opening a new era. This attitude of not giving up became a symbol of Flick's Barcelona, and indeed, they recorded comebacks in a total of 9 matches this season. Flick has achieved victories in 43 out of 54 matches this season, resulting in a win rate of 73%. This is the highest figure for a Barcelona coach in their first season since Luis Enrique."

Flick maintained his '100% win rate in finals' record. The club noted, "Flick distinguished himself this season by winning both the Supercopa and the Copa del Rey against Real Madrid, continuing his remarkable record of a 100% win rate in finals. Thus, he has achieved victory in all 7 finals of his coaching career (5 with Bayern Munich, 2 with Barcelona)."

It added, "Flick is already leaving a significant mark in Barcelona's history. And that record is expected to be further enriched over the coming seasons."
