Ulsan HD FC delivered delicious snacks of love.

Ulsan HD conducted the community service activity titled "Thank you kitchen Ulsan HD, in support of firefighters across Korea!" in collaboration with OTOKI at the Seoul Ulsan Fire Station in Ulsan, on the 20th.

A large forest fire occurred in the Ulsan Uljugun area last March, and the firefighters from the Seoul Ulsan Fire Station were fully engaged in extinguishing the fire on the front lines. In response, Ulsan HD planned this event to express gratitude to the firefighters for their hard work.

This event was held in collaboration with Ulsan HD's proud F&B business partners. The food truck "Yellow Kitchen" from OTOKI, a comprehensive food company in Korea and a partner in the Munsoo Football Stadium in Ulsan, offered pizza, while "Gorae Tteokbang" provided Ulsan’s special rice cakes, and "Rola Mill" served iced americanos.

Additionally, Ulsan HD's captain, Kim Young-gwon, along with Lee Chung-yong and Jo Hyun-woo, toured the newly opened Seoul Ulsan Fire Station facilities, experiencing firefighting activities. They then presented a commemorative uniform frame, filled with gratitude from the Ulsan team to the firefighters.

Afterward, a signing event was held for the firefighters and their families. Kim Young-gwon, Lee Chung-yong, and Jo Hyun-woo interacted with fans through autographs and selfies.

Seoul Ulsan Fire Department Administrative Officer Seo Jeong-ha recalled, "A major forest fire occurred in Uljugun after more than a decade. During the fire, strong winds and dense forests caused the flames to spread quickly. A large number of firefighting personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire. Our firefighters and volunteer firefighters made significant efforts to quickly control the fire."

"I thank the Ulsan HD team for recognizing the efforts of our firefighters. It was particularly meaningful to have three former and current national team players present. I hope Ulsan HD achieves four consecutive championships in K League 1. We will continue to ensure the safety of local residents and strive to contribute to the community."

Ulsan HD CEO Kim Kwang-guk noted, "Not long ago, a major forest fire occurred in Uljugun. I heard it had been over a decade, but thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, the fire was extinguished. We at Ulsan HD thought about how we could repay the firefighters and their families, and we came together with our staff to prepare this event. The players came straight here after finishing their training. We will continue to actively engage in community service activities for the region."

Captain Kim Young-gwon said, "During the forest fire, I was also anxious, as were those around me. Fortunately, the firefighters responded quickly. I heard there were some injuries, and I hope they recover soon. Personally, this is my first visit to a fire station, and it’s refreshing. I didn't know the firefighters could be so cheerful and bright. I've only seen them extinguishing fires on TV, so seeing them smile like this made me proud and it was a meaningful time."

Meanwhile, Ulsan HD’s ambitious F&B business is taking the lead in K League’s F&B services. The Ulsan team also plans to engage in various forms of community service to give back to the love received from fans and local residents.
