Konkuk University affiliated middle school won the Seoul Metropolitan City middle school baseball tournament trophy for the first time in 7 years.

The Seoul Baseball Softball Association successfully concluded the "2025 Athlete Village Hospital Cup U15 Baseball Tournament."

The tournament, held at Gugi Baseball Field from the 7th to the 17th, featured 26 teams from within Seoul, running concurrently as a preliminary round for the President's Cup.

On the 17th, the traditional powerhouse Jayang and the recently surging Konkuk University affiliated middle school faced off with pride on the line.

The final match was postponed by a day due to rain, but Konkuk University affiliated middle school secured a comeback victory, winning 6-4. This marks their first victory in the Seoul tournament in 7 years. Joint 3rd place went to Gangnam Middle School and Dachi Middle School.

The tournament MVP was Hwang Jun-hee (Konkuk University affiliated middle school 2nd year), the best pitcher award went to Baek Ji-hoon (Konkuk University affiliated middle school 2nd year), the batting award went to Park Soo-hyun (Konkuk University affiliated middle school 3rd year), and the spirit award went to Yoon Tae-kyung (Jayang Middle School 3rd year).

Players receiving individual awards were presented with high-quality handmade gloves and bats from ACTA, high-quality handmade WE gloves from KSM Sports, coupons for glasses and sports goggles from Apgujeong Iri-chan Optical Center, baseball books, and many other generous prizes.

The main title sponsor for the tournament, Athlete Village Hospital, is a designated partner and hospital for the association, and has been actively supporting the Seoul U18 (high school), U15 (middle school), and U12 (elementary school) tournaments since 2021, demonstrating ongoing interest and support for youth baseball in Seoul.
