SOOP's cable channel subsidiary 'SOOPTV' will produce the country's first sports magazine program themed around Japanese baseball and billiards.

SOOPTV is the only TV channel in South Korea specializing in Japanese baseball and billiards, broadcasting the Nippon Professional Baseball Pacific League and the World Carom Federation (UMB) tournaments.

The program title being introduced this time is 'Sports! SOOP!'. 'Sports! SOOP!' is a weekly sports magazine program that will be hosted by sports specialist announcer Hong Soo-ah.

According to SOOP, this program will feature expert panels for each sport, deeply and vividly discussing the issues of the week. Japanese baseball will feature commentator Son Yun, while billiards will include journalist Kim Min-young from Billiards & Sports.
