In the 36th minute of the first half, Jeonbuk intercepted Anyang's counterattack and quickly sent the ball forward, where Jeon Jinwoo received it in the box. Jeon Jinwoo passed to Kompanho, but the defense blocked it, and Kim Jin-kyu, who reclaimed the ball, passed it back to Jeon Jinwoo. Jeon Jinwoo promptly attempted a left-footed shot that found the net.
