"Throws tricky pitches to left-handed batters."

Kia Tigers unveiled their right-handed lineup for the 2025 professional baseball game against Doosan Bears, which will be held on the 17th at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field.

Kia has set its lineup with Park Chan-ho (shortstop), Kim Sun-bin (second base), Kim Do-young (third base), Choi Hyung-woo (designated hitter), Lee Woo-sung (left field), Byeon Woo-hyeok (first base), Choi Won-joon (right field), Kim Tae-kwon (catcher), and Kim Ho-ryeong (center field).

It is a right-handed lineup of seven in preparation for left-handed starting pitcher Cole Irvin. The .300 hitter Oh Seon-woo is waiting on the bench.

Manager Lee Beom-ho noted, "When we played at Jamsil, left-handed batters found it tricky. We threw pitches that broke in towards left-handed batters well. That’s why we set a right-handed lineup."

They called up catcher Joo Hyo-sang and left-handed pitcher Yoo Ji-seong for the doubleheader special entry. Joo Hyo-sang has been registered in the first team for the first time in two years since being removed on May 14, 2023.

Manager Lee explained, "I heard Ji-seong is the best from the Futures team. Hyo-sang is also recovering from elbow surgery and does quite well in throwing out runners. Although it’s just for a day, I wanted to see how they perform."
