NC Dinos team captain Park Min-woo (32) expressed his feelings about finally being able to hold a home game after a long period of wandering.

On the 16th, NC will play the 4th game against the Kiwoom Heroes at Ulsan Munsoo Baseball Stadium in the 2025 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League.

NC's home stadium, Changwon NC Park, has not been able to hold games since the structure collapse incident during the NC vs. LG game on March 29. The decision was made to conduct thorough inspections for the safety of spectators due to the fatal incident. Although the louvers that caused the accident have been removed, the timeline for reopening remains uncertain.

In light of this situation, NC decided to temporarily use Ulsan Munsoo Stadium as their home stadium. They will host their first home game at Munsoo Stadium against Kiwoom on the 16th. Although NC has had to play away games continuously and could not use NC Park, they are finally able to have a home game, albeit at a temporary venue.

In an interview on the 15th, Park Min-woo said, "I finally feel like I can wear the white uniform, the home uniform. Although I'm still living in a hotel, our home fans will surely come back to cheer for the home team at our home stadium. I feel a sense of relief at the thought that a long away living period is coming to an end."

"The home team naturally has a bit more time for training, and there's time for lunch, training, and then a short break," said Park Min-woo. "The away team tends to spend a long time in the hotel before going to the stadium, which causes some difficulties in training. Now, we will be able to train more and prepare more thoroughly for the games in the areas where we were lacking." He expressed his excitement for the long-awaited home game.

From the 11th to the 13th of last month, NC used Busan Sajik Stadium as a temporary home stadium and played three home games against Lotte. After that, they played an astonishing 23 consecutive away games.

Park Min-woo noted, "Although the players may not express it, there could be various complaints. We have been living in hotels while continuously playing away games. Complaints could arise, and if those feelings accumulate, it could affect the entire team. Nevertheless, everyone has made a lot of effort to avoid creating such an atmosphere. Thankfully, I don't have to say anything; the players are trying to create a bright atmosphere on their own. Since everyone couldn't go home, we were able to think about baseball more." He laughed.

"It's not just the players; the front office has also worked really hard. I am truly grateful," said Park Min-woo. "I think I've only gone home once in the last month, just to sleep. After the game in Daegu on Sunday, I went home, slept, and headed straight to Gwangju. To be honest, Ulsan is quite far away, so I’m worried. All the players are going through tough times, but they really don't show it, and I'm very thankful for that." He expressed his gratitude to the players who are enduring this challenging time together.

"This is the first time playing a game in Ulsan since the All-Star Game seven years ago," said Park Min-woo. "To be honest, I’m not sure how the locker rooms, indoor practice fields, and weight training facilities are set up. I'm also worried because it’s artificial turf. Our team has many players with hamstring injuries, and I've heard that artificial turf is not good for hamstrings, so I'm concerned. But what can we do? We need to do our best in the given situation."

Finally able to hold a home game and secure a late victory, Park Min-woo said, "I’ve been continuously attacking, but I can finally say we're in a situation where we can also strike back. I am grateful that we have reached a situation where we can achieve a dramatic win. Still, I want to go to Changwon quickly. Changwon is the best," expressing his hope to return to NC Park someday.
