A new figure (bobblehead) modeled after Kim Hye-sung of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been officially released.

Dodgers Nation, which mainly covers Dodgers news, reported on the 16th (Korean time) that the American sports merchandise brand FOCO has unveiled a 12-inch electric-gold-plated limited edition bobblehead of Shohei Ohtani and a 10-inch bobblehead of Kim Hye-sung titled "Welcome to the Team."

The Ohtani bobblehead depicts him in a pose swinging a bat atop a Dodgers logo BASS, priced at $140. It captures the presence of the best two-way player in the league and the 2023 National League MVP.

The Kim Hye-sung bobblehead was produced to commemorate his major league debut against the Atlanta Braves on the 4th. It is depicted in a welcoming pose holding a Dodgers uniform and is priced at $100.

Although the Dodgers have not yet scheduled a "Kim Hye-sung Bobblehead Day," fans can now possess a special collection commemorating Kim Hye-sung's first major league season through FOCO's latest release.

FOCO is currently selling various figures of prominent Dodgers players such as Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Mookie Betts, and they are available for purchase through the official website.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye-sung showcased a stellar performance on the 16th at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, completing his debut with five times on base during a home game against the Oakland Athletics.

Batting ninth and playing second base, Kim Hye-sung stepped up to the plate for his first at-bat with one out and runners on first base in the second inning with the score at 3-2. He connected with a changeup from opposing starter Osvaldo Bido on the second pitch, hitting a single to right field and creating a first and third opportunity. Kim Hye-sung stole second base during Mookie Betts' at-bat and later scored on Betts' RBI single to left field.

In the third inning, with one out and runners on first and second base, Kim Hye-sung hit a single to left field, bringing the runner from second base home. He scored on a three-run homer by Shohei Ohtani.

In the fourth inning, with one out and no runners on base, Kim Hye-sung stepped to the plate for his third at-bat and drew his first walk in the big leagues, completing his game with three times on base. He added another score on Ohtani's home run. Kim Hye-sung reached base again in the sixth inning with a walk, increasing his total to four times on base, but did not score due to subsequent failures to hit.

In the eighth inning, Kim Hye-sung hit a two-run double, completing five times on base with three hits and two walks. He recorded his fourth run on a sacrifice fly by Max Muncy. On the day, Kim Hye-sung finished with a batting average that rose from .306 to .429 after going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and four runs scored.
