On the 12th, Lee Yong-hoon defeated Kim Jin-yong (Yeongwol County Office) to claim the Taebaek champion title at the 'Withus Pharmaceutical 2025 Folk Wrestling Yuseong Hot Springs Champion Wrestling Competition' held at the National Hanbat University Gymnasium.
In the semifinals, Lee Yong-hoon advanced to the finals by defeating Lee Kwang-seok (Ulsan County Office) with successful techniques including a lifted waist throw and a back knee strike, winning 2-1.
The first match was lost to Kim Jin-yong (Yeongwol County Office) with a front knee strike. However, Lee Yong-hoon turned the match around to win 3-1 with an ankle grab and a pull-down technique, marking his first ascent to champion status.
