Min-jae Kim (29, Bayern Munich) is now the target of Juventus's approach. According to multiple Italian media outlets, Juventus has moved quickly, positioning itself ahead of Inter Milan in the "Min-jae Kim recruitment battle."

The Italian media outlet SpazioJ reported on the 11th (Korean time) that "Juventus has explored the possibility of recruiting Min-jae Kim from Bayern Munich. Contact has started, and Bayern has conveyed its position that it would consider a transfer if a suitable offer is presented."

Juventus's chief Cristiano Giuntoli is the one who brought Min-jae Kim during his time at Napoli. Reports indicate that he remembers well the 2022-2023 season when Min-jae dominated Serie A and believes that now, when Kim has not performed as expected at Bayern Munich, is the perfect time to sign him again.

Although Bayern lost the title last season to Bayer Leverkusen, which achieved an unbeaten championship, this season it confirmed the league title early. Min-jae Kim played in 43 official matches and had to endure overload amid a series of injuries in the defense.

In the second half of the season, Min-jae Kim's injuries piled up, and mistakes became frequent, shaking his position within the team. The possibility of a transfer has been repeatedly raised in Germany.

SpazioJ noted that "Bayern is not completely ruling out the possibility of Min-jae Kim's transfer. However, a reasonable offer is necessary. The player's market value is estimated at around €40 million (about 63 billion won)," adding that "Juventus may also attempt negotiations in the form of a loan contract that includes a buyout clause."

Meanwhile, Giuntoli is also expressing his intention to recreate his "Napoli championship blueprint" beyond Kim Min-jae.

SpazioJ reported that "notably, Victor Osimhen is still on Juventus's radar. Osimhen is also receiving many offers, but there are speculations that Juventus's proposal could sway his heart."

Juventus is currently managing to hold on to 4th place in the league amid a tough fight. With several players injured, the upcoming schedule looks difficult. However, the club is already working on strengthening its squad for next season, with Kim Min-jae mentioned as one of the key reinforcement targets.

If Min-jae Kim decides to transfer, Juventus is expected to engage in another "recruitment derby" with Inter Milan. This time, Giuntoli has moved first once again.
