Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (hereafter Jeonbuk Hyundai) Green School children members conducted a "plogging" event to protect the environment and create a clean city.

About 50 families of Green School children members and coaching staff at Jeonbuk Hyundai Soccer School participated in the "plogging" activity, which involves picking up trash while running, at Gunsan Eunpa Park on the 11th.

Jeonbuk Hyundai explained that the recent cancellations of Green School lessons due to climate issues, such as fine dust, heatwaves, and heavy rain, emphasized the importance of the environment, prompting the campaign.

Participants in the Green School campaign trained in the morning and gathered with their guardians at Gunsan Eunpa Lake Park in the afternoon, where they received safety training before starting the main activity.

Children participating in the "plogging" event ran together for about 1 hour and 30 minutes over a distance of approximately 4.7 kilometers at Gunsan Eunpa Lake Park, picking up trash along the way.

Jeonbuk Hyundai stated that the Green School will carry out various activities for social development, including environmental protection, in addition to soccer, in partnership with the local community.

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Hyundai Green School plans to expand its environmental protection campaign by conducting an event at Jeonju Samcheong Cheonbyeon on the 24th (Saturday), following the one at Gunsan Eunpa Lake Park.
