'KYK Invitational 2025' is a 'volleyball festival' held to commemorate Kim Yeon-koung's last match, where she personally invites representatives from the domestic V-League and top-level female volleyball players from around the world. It will be held on May 17th (Saturday) and 18th (Sunday) at Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium, adding significance as a special event to celebrate the finale of Kim Yeon-koung, who has led Korean women's volleyball.
On the 17th (Saturday), there will be a match between the Women's Volleyball World All-Star Team and the South Korean Women's National Volleyball Team, while on the second day, the invited world all-star players will split into teams for a game. With a variety of programs such as celebratory performances and preview shows added, it is expected to provide unforgettable memories to fans.
Notably, the participation of world star Seungkwan adds to the excitement. Seungkwan has been a recognized 'true fan' of volleyball since childhood, often seen cheering at actual matches. He is scheduled to join as a guest commentator for the match between the Women's Volleyball World All-Star Team and the South Korean Women's National Volleyball Team on the first day of 'KYK Invitational 2025.'
