The bullpen of Lee Jun-woo (1 inning, no runs), Yang Ji-yul (2 innings, no runs), and Son Him-chan (1 inning, 3 runs) pitched valiantly, but they could not prevent the team's defeat. With this loss, Kiwoom fell into a 3-game losing streak.

In the top of the 2nd, Hanwha's leadoff hitter Chae Eun-sung reached base with an infield hit, but the lower order did not respond. In the 3rd, leadoff hitter Yido reached base on a walk, while Hwang Young-mook struck out and Florial was caught out in foul territory. However, Moon Hyun-bin got a hit, creating a 2 outs, 1st and 3rd base opportunity, and during Moon Hyun-bin's attempted steal of second base, a throwing error by the catcher allowed 3rd base runner Yido to score, bringing in the first run. Noh Si-hwan then popped out to the pitcher.

In the 4th with 2 outs, Kim Tae-yeon reached base after being hit by a pitch, and courtesy runner Lee Won-seok successfully stole second base. However, Lee Jae-won struck out, preventing any scoring opportunity. In the 5th inning with 1 out, Hanwha's Hwang Young-mook got a hit, followed by Florial’s walk and Moon Hyun-bin’s groundout, setting up a 2 outs, 2nd and 3rd base chance. In the following no outs, 1st and 3rd situation, the top order of Hwang Young-mook, Florial, and Moon Hyun-bin fell silent, preventing any further scoring.

While Kiwoom was unable to create any significant opportunities against Weiss, Hanwha's batting lineup fired up once again.
