SSG won the second game of the doubleheader 5-1 against KIA in the 2025 KBO League at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 11th. SSG also won the first game of the doubleheader 8-4.

In the second game of the doubleheader, KIA's starting lineup included Park Chan-ho (shortstop), Kim Sun-bin (second baseman), Kim Do-young (third baseman), Choi Hyung-woo (designated hitter), Byeon Woo-hyuk (first baseman), Lee Woo-sung (left fielder), Jeong Hae-won (right fielder), Han Seung-taek (catcher), and Park Jeong-woo (center fielder). Wisdom, who started in the first game, was replaced during the game due to back pain and did not play in the second game. KIA seized an opportunity in the 5th inning. Lead-off batter Lee Woo-sung's ground ball hit the third baseman's glove and bounced into the outfield for an error. Jeong Hae-won walked, creating a chance with runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.
SSG's pitching coach visited the mound, and third baseman Kim Su-yun was replaced by Kim Seong-hyeon. Second baseman Kim Chan-hyung moved to third base, and Kim Seong-hyeon was brought into play second base. Han Seung-taek attempted a sacrifice bunt, but the third baseman quickly fielded the ball and threw to third base for a force out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and 1 out, Oh Seon-woo, who was substituted in, struck out, and Park Chan-ho grounded into a shortstop's ground out, failing to capitalize on the opportunity.
SSG went down in order against Yang Hyun-jong in the 4th and 5th innings. In the 6th inning, lead-off batter Chae Hyun-woo hit a triple that went past the center fielder, creating a great scoring chance to tie the game. Choi Ji-hoon hit a sacrifice fly to left field, making the score 1-1. Park Seong-han reached on a single to left field, and Choi Jeong created a 1st and 2nd base situation with a straight walk.
KIA replaced Yang Hyun-jong with Jeon Sang-hyun as a relief pitcher. McBroom hit a single to left field, resulting in base-loaded with 1 out. SSG substituted Han Yu-seom for Ko Myung-jun. Han Yu-seom drew a walk, allowing SSG to lead 2-1.
At Kim Chan-hyung's plate appearance, Choi Jun-woo came in as a pinch hitter and hit a timely single to left field, bringing the runner from third base home. The score was 3-1, and the opportunity continued with runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out.
KIA replaced Jeon Sang-hyun with left-handed pitcher Choi Ji-min. SSG brought in Lee Ro-woon as the second pitcher after starting pitcher Kim Kwang-hyun in the 8th inning. He walked the lead-off batter but retired the next 3 batters without allowing any runs. In the 9th inning, leading 5-1, Kim Gun-woo came in to close the game.
