Lotte achieved its fourth consecutive victory, led by the excellent pitching of Park Se-woong, the sole leader in wins.

The Lotte Giants won 6-1 against the KT Wiz in the fifth match of the season held at Suwon KT Wiz Park on Nov. 11 in the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League.

Lotte recorded its fourth consecutive victory and fifth consecutive win on the road, bringing its season record to 24 wins, 1 draw, and 16 losses, alongside dominating the doubleheader. In contrast, KT fell to its fifth consecutive loss with a record of 18 wins, 2 draws, and 20 losses. KT's five-game losing streak is the longest since June 8 of last year, when they faced the LG Twins.

On the road, Lotte faced KT ace William Cuevas with a starting lineup featuring Yun Dong-hee (right fielder), Go Seung-min (second baseman), Victor RAY (left fielder), Na Seung-yeob (first baseman), Jeon Jun-woo (designated hitter), Son Ho-young (third baseman), Yoo Kang-nam (catcher), Jang Du-sung (center fielder), and Lee Ho-jun (shortstop).

In response, the home team KT lined up against Lotte's starter Park Se-woong with Hwang Jae-kyun (third baseman), Kim Min-hyeok (left fielder), Rojas (right fielder), Ahn Hyun-min (center fielder), Kang Baek-ho (catcher), Jang Seong-woo (designated hitter), Kwon Dong-jin (shortstop), Moon Sang-cheol (first baseman), and Kang Min-seong (second baseman).

Lotte aggressively attacked Cuevas from the first inning. After one out, Go Seung-min and RAY scored consecutive hits to put runners on first and third, leading to Na Seung-yeob breaking the scoreless tie with a one-run ground ball, followed by Jeon Jun-woo hitting a two-run homer.

Upon his appearance, Jeon Jun-woo attacked Cuevas' first pitch fastball (142 km/h), connecting for a home run that traveled 128.8 meters down the left field line. This marked his third home run of the season after 11 games since the match against the Doosan Bears on Oct. 27.

KT quickly retaliated in the bottom of the first inning. Similarly, after one out, Kim Min-hyeok and Rojas had consecutive hits to place runners on first and second. Then, an error occurred when shortstop Lee Ho-jun, covering second base, committed a throwing error, allowing second-base runner Kim Min-hyeok to score after advancing to third.

After missing a scoring opportunity in the second inning with two outs and runners on first and second, Lotte's batting lineup regained its strength in the third inning. Lead-off man RAY walked, and Na Seung-yeob hit a single to right field, creating a no-out opportunity on first and third. Jeon Jun-woo then added to the lead with a sacrifice fly to right field.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, after two outs, Kang Baek-ho walked and Jang Seong-woo had a single to position runners on first and third, but Kwon Dong-jin struck out to end the inning.

In the sixth inning, after one out, Lee Ho-jun walked and advanced to third base after consecutive wild pitches by Kim Min-soo. At the plate, Yun Dong-hee also drew a walk after an eight-pitch battle, leading to Go Seung-min hitting a sacrifice fly to center field.

In the final inning, in the top of the ninth with one out, RAY hit a double and Na Seung-yeob walked, creating an opportunity for Jeon Jun-woo to hit a run-scoring single, celebrating Lotte's four-game winning streak.

Lotte starter Park Se-woong pitched 6⅔ innings, allowing 4 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 8 batters, giving up 1 unearned run on 102 pitches to earn his eighth win of the season (1 loss), surpassing Kodi Ponse (Hanwha Eagles) to take sole possession of the lead in wins. Following him, Jeong Hyun-soo (⅓ inning, scoreless), Kim Kang-hyun (⅓ inning, scoreless), Jeong Cheol-won (1 inning, scoreless), and Kim Sang-su (1 inning, scoreless) finished the game.

In the batting lineup, RAY had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 2 runs, Jeon Jun-woo had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 4 RBIs, and 1 run scored, and Go Seung-min contributed with 2 hits in 4 at-bats, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored.

Conversely, KT's starter Cuevas allowed 6 hits (including 1 home run) over 5 innings, issuing 5 walks, striking out 2, and conceding 4 runs on 93 pitches, suffering his third loss of the season (2 wins). Kim Min-hyeok's 2 hits were overshadowed.

Both teams will take a 1-hour break after the first game of the doubleheader before entering game two. Lotte will start Lee Min-seok while KT will start Oh Won-seok.
