KIA Tigers struggled with their bullpen in the final moments of the game but secured a one-point victory. KIA won 5-4 against SSG Landers in the second game of the doubleheader held at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 10th.

KIA seized a good opportunity in the top of the first inning with a double from Park Chan-ho and a stolen base to third. Kim Do-young scored the opening run with a sacrifice fly.

KIA added a run in the 6th inning. After one out, Park Chan-ho reached base on a walk and successfully stole second. He advanced to third due to a throwing error by pitcher Anderson. Wisdom added a run without a hit with a sacrifice fly.

KIA's starting pitcher, Olle, threw 112 pitches over six innings, allowing three hits, three walks, striking out seven, and not conceding any runs, before handing the ball over to the bullpen in the 7th. The 112 pitches were a personal record for Olle in a single game.

In the 7th inning, KIA's Jeon Sang-hyun was replaced by left-handed Lee Jun-young after allowing an infield hit with two outs. Lee Jun-young gave up a hit to Choi Ji-hoon and a two-run double to Park Sung-han, allowing the game to tie at 2-2.

In the 8th inning, KIA's lead-off hitter Han Joon-soo walked, and there was an error in the throw to second base by the second baseman on Park Jung-woo's ground ball. Park Chan-ho laid down a sacrifice bunt, creating a chance with one out and runners on second and third. Wisdom walked on an automatic intentional walk, loading the bases with one out, and Kim Do-young's ground ball resulted in an error by the third baseman as KIA pulled ahead 3-2. With one out and the bases loaded, Choi Hyung-woo's sacrifice fly extended the lead to 4-2.

KIA's Jo Sang-woo gave up a solo home run to McBroom in the 8th inning. In the 9th, KIA took another chance with a walk by lead-off hitter Lee Woo-sung, a hit by Oh Seon-woo, a sacrifice bunt by Hong Jong-pyo, and a walk by Park Jung-woo, loading the bases with one out. Park Chan-ho's sacrifice fly allowed KIA to pull ahead 5-3. In the bottom of the 9th, closer Jung Hae-young conceded a solo home run to Choi Jung, but KIA won 5-4 by a one-point margin.

Park Chan-ho recorded his personal best in steals for a single game (3), with 1 hit in 2 at-bats, 1 RBI, and 2 runs.

Manager Lee Bum-ho noted after the game, "The game was tightly contested, but thanks to the players who maintained focus until the end, we were able to win this important game. Efficiently scoring in situations where runs were needed proved effective."

The manager also praised Park Chan-ho for fulfilling his role as a lead-off hitter, and Olle for showing determination by lasting six innings despite high pitch counts. Finally, he said, "We are preparing well to achieve a winning series ahead of tomorrow's doubleheader."
