Austin Dean, a foreign player for the LG Twins professional baseball team who complained of dizziness, takes a brief break. Austin will rest until the 12th.

On the 6th, Austin started as the third baseman in a game against Doosan Bears held at Jamsil Stadium. In the 8th inning, leading 5-1, Austin, batting first, faced Park Shin-ji, who came to the mound in place of Ko Hyo-jun, and hit a slider on the 6th pitch for a single.

The following batter, Moon Bo-kyung, hit a ground ball to second base, leading to a collision with Doosan second baseman Kang Seung-ho, causing Austin to fall and unable to get up for some time. Austin was helped by an interpreter and went into the dugout. Austin was declared out due to interference.

Austin did not participate in the game on the 7th. At the time, manager Yeom Kyung-yeob noted, "Austin went home. I sent him home because he said he felt dizzy. I wanted to use him if possible; I was going to use him as a designated hitter, but since he said he's dizzy, it's not possible," expressing his disappointment.

On the 9th, Austin, who traveled to Daegu for the away game against Samsung Lions, moved to Seoul with the interpreter after the game was canceled due to rain. A photo of Austin sitting with the interpreter in the Daegu Station waiting room was also shared in the baseball community.

Manager Yeom Kyung-yeob said, "Austin experienced dizziness during batting practice yesterday, so after the rain cancellation, he moved to Seoul for a detailed examination," adding, "The examination results showed nothing abnormal. So, I told him to take a break until Sunday since he went up to Seoul." Austin is expected to return for the home game against Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Stadium on the 13th.

Manager Yeom Kyung-yeob stated, "From a managerial perspective, the difference with and without Austin is significant. I made this decision looking at the long term."

That day, LG's starting lineup consisted of right fielder Hong Chang-ki, center fielder Park Hae-min, catcher Park Dong-won, third baseman Moon Bo-kyung, designated hitter Kim Hyun-soo, shortstop Oh Ji-hwan, left fielder Moon Seong-ju, first baseman Kim Min-soo, and second baseman Koo Bon-hyuk.

Meanwhile, this season, Austin has played in 35 games, recording a batting average of .390 (38 hits in 123 at-bats), 10 home runs, 30 RBIs, 29 runs scored, and an OPS of 1.010.
