The professional baseball SSG Landers had its first game of a doubleheader against the KIA Tigers canceled due to rain on the 10th at Incheon SSG Landers Field, resulting in only the second game being played. The rain-canceled game must be played as a doubleheader on the 11th.

The home team SSG players arrived early on the 10th to prepare for the doubleheader. Head Coach Lee Seung-yong held an interview with reporters at 2:30 p.m. on the 10th ahead of the second game of the doubleheader.

Coach Lee said, 'I came out at 8:30 a.m... I've just been waiting.' He laughed as he mentioned that after the cancellation of the first game of the doubleheader, 'I took a sauna, worked out, and just lay down.' SSG has installed facilities such as a sauna for the convenience of the players.

The visiting team KIA learned about the cancellation of the first game due to rain while at their hotel and arrived at the baseball stadium in time for the second game.

Coach Lee said regarding the doubleheader on the 11th, 'I have to think again about the starting pitchers for the first and second games after seeing how today's game ends. Both KIA and we have all our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd starters out, so I need to consider well based on today's game. Today's game is important. Of course, every game is important, but we need to strategize for tomorrow's doubleheader as well.'

In the second game of the doubleheader on the 10th, Anderson and Olle will be the starting match-up. In the doubleheader on the 11th, SSG will have Kim Kwang-hyun and White as starters, while KIA will have Nail and Yang Hyun-jong starting. Who will pitch in the first game is still undecided.

Coach Lee emphasized, 'Typically when there's a doubleheader, a stronger pitcher goes out for the first game. If we win today's game, I need to think a bit more. We have to get at least 2 wins and 1 loss, and KIA is in the same situation, so we need to use everything we can to the best of our ability for today’s game.'

Meanwhile, SSG will field its starting lineup for the second game of the doubleheader on the 10th with Choi Ji-hoon (center fielder), Park Sung-han (shortstop), Choi Jeong (designated hitter), Han Yu-seom (first baseman), Ryan McBroom (right fielder), Ko Myung-jun (first baseman), Jo Hyung-woo (catcher), Jeong Joon-jae (second baseman), and Kim Chan-hyung (third baseman).

Additionally, SSG has registered pitcher Shin Ji-hwan and catcher Kim Gyu-min as special entries for the doubleheader.
