The cold snap couldn't stop the excitement of baseball.

The professional baseball team KT Wiz recorded a sellout in the second game of their doubleheader against the Lotte Giants in the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League held at Suwon KT Wiz Park on the 10th.

According to the home team KT representative, all 18,700 seats at KT Wiz Park were sold out by 5:20 p.m. after 20 minutes into the game. This was the first sellout in 27 days since the match against the Samsung Lions on the 13th of last month.

KT achieved sellouts in the opening two-game series against the Hanwha Eagles on March 22-23 and against Samsung on April 13. This marks the fourth sellout of the season.

Suwon KT Wiz Park was drenched in heavy rain throughout the morning, resulting in the cancellation of the first game of the doubleheader scheduled for 2 p.m. Even after the rain stopped, the chilly air enveloped the stadium, but it couldn't deter KT and Lotte fans eager to watch baseball. Despite the cold snap, 18,700 spectators visited the stadium and offered enthusiastic support.

As of the top of the third inning, both teams are tied at 3-3.
