The Korea Baseball Softball Association (KBSA) has been selected as the operating organization for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's project '2025 Youth Club League Support Project' aimed at expanding the base of youth baseball. The organization plans to pursue a more stable and systematic league operation based on government support.

The '2025 Youth Baseball Club League (i-League)' will sequentially open across 17 regional associations and federations nationwide starting from the 10th, with a total of 70 leagues and 426 teams participating.

This reflects an increase of 10 leagues and 69 teams compared to the previous year, and as the scale of the league expands, it is expected to significantly contribute to broadening the base of youth baseball participants and revitalizing grassroots sports.

This year's youth baseball club league will provide various playing experiences through the operation of level-based leagues (Level 1, 2, 3) reflecting age and skill. Level 1 league focuses on expanding participation opportunities and improving skills for players registered as U-12 professional players who have not had opportunities to compete in official matches.

Level 2 league supports players belonging to Little and Youth Federations' U-12, 13, and 15 categories, focusing on skill improvement and practical experience. Level 3 league aims to stimulate interest and acquire fundamental skills through participation in games for players participating in sports club activities of U-12, 13, and 16.

The association aims to eliminate a results-oriented culture through this initiative, focusing on building an advanced nurturing system that enables youth players to enjoy baseball and grow autonomously.

Additionally, the detailed projects will include various programs such as 'Baseball5 League and Training Sessions', known as punch baseball, 'Baseball School with Mom' for family participation, and 'Coaching Training Sessions' to enhance the expertise of coaches, supporting the continuous participation and growth of youth players.

Meanwhile, the association utilizes an integrated game information system to manage player registration and game results for the efficient operation of the youth club league (i-League) and plans to continuously provide related information, such as schedules for side events and participant recruitment, through social media channels like YouTube and Instagram.
