The Korean Sports Council is conducting the '2025 Concentrated Safety Inspection' for the creation of a safe training environment and the spread of a safety culture from April 14 (Monday) to June 13 (Friday), and will carry out a joint inspection at the Jincheon National Training Center from the 8th (Thursday) to the 9th (Friday).
This concentrated safety inspection will be conducted jointly by forming a self-joint inspection team, focusing on 18 locations at the Jincheon National Training Center and three locations at the Taereung Training Center, for a total of 26 locations in four areas, and additionally checking the safety of establishments operated by the Sports Council, such as the Sports Talent Development Center (Jeonnam Jangheung), the Pyeongchang Winter Training Center (Gangwon Pyeongchang), the Sports Council Hall (Seoul Mugyo-dong), and the Hanam Tennis Court (Gyeonggi).
The joint inspection team will confirm the safety status of the entire national training center by visiting 18 facilities within the national training center, as well as the comprehensive situation room operating the autonomous safety system (082 system) and the construction sites within the national training center for two days starting on the 8th.
Kim Taek-soo, the head of the training center who participated in the inspection, noted, "I hope that safety will be ensured when carrying out construction work such as the improvement of training facilities and the expansion of convenience facilities in preparation for international competitions," and added, "I will do my best to create a safe training center environment through the expansion and systematic implementation of safety inspections and the establishment of a safety management system."
