The Taekwondo Promotion Foundation is aiming to promote sports tourism through the spread of taekwondo culture by changing the entrance fee to free starting in May, coinciding with its 20th anniversary. Meanwhile, rapeseed flowers are blooming within the Taekwondowon, attracting visitors.

On the 8th, the rapeseed flowers located in the outdoor complex experience facility "Play One" of Taekwondowon bloomed brightly. Due to the cold wave caused by abnormal weather earlier this year and the snowfall in spring, the blooming of rapeseed flowers has been delayed and their growth status is not as good as in previous years. However, visitors to Taekwondowon are still able to take commemorative photographs with the rapeseed flowers as a backdrop.

Kim Joong-heon, the chairman of the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation, said, "Although rain is forecasted for Friday, visitors to Taekwondowon this weekend are expected to encounter the rapeseed flowers. I hope you enjoy the permanent performances and various content at Taekwondowon, especially the flowers and trees blooming throughout the 2.31 million square meters (700,000 pyeong) of Taekwondowon, which bring the vibrant energy of spring."

Meanwhile, visitors who wish to see the rapeseed flower fields can board the circular bus within Taekwondowon and get off at the "Play One (Traditional Garden)" stop.
