Ticket sales for the 2026 Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in North America have officially started. However, some package prices reach as high as £55,000 (approximately 100 million won), drawing the attention of soccer fans.

The British publication The Sun reported on the 7th (Korean time) that the sale of tickets for the 2026 World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, has officially begun, but some package prices are as high as £55,000 (approximately 100 million won).

The United States will host the World Cup across a total of 11 cities. Most cities are selling a 'city package' that allows spectators to watch all eight matches held in that city.

Among these, the package that includes MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, where the final will take place, is priced at the highest rate. The cheapest option for this package is £19,282 (approximately 36 million won), while the highest price reaches £55,000.

Currently, the cheapest city package available is in San Francisco, which has Levi's Stadium. San Francisco is offering the eight-match package for £6,184 (approximately 11.55 million won).

'Follow My Team' series, which allows fans to watch all group stage matches of their supported national team, is being sold starting at £5,612 (approximately 10.48 million won).

Among the tickets, there is a 'four-match series' package that allows selection of four matches held between Monday and Thursday. However, this package does not include the opening match of the U.S. national team.

All hospitality packages include access to pitchside lounges, private suites, and various upscale shared lounge passes. Access to the dedicated hospitality area 'FIFA Pavilion' operated by FIFA is also available. Fans can enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment in this area before and after the matches.

Meanwhile, according to The Athletic, the average price for general admission tickets for the group stage is expected to be around £260 (approximately 490,000 won).
