The Lotte Giants are nurturing their dreams of fall baseball. Sajik Stadium surged with excitement during the golden holiday, and the fervor did not diminish even after the holiday ended.
Lotte announced that the professional baseball regular season game against the SSG Landers, held on the 7th at Sajik Stadium in Busan, was sold out with 22,699 attendees. This marks their seventh consecutive sellout since the Hanwha game on April 24.
During the home series of six games held since the 2nd, all were filled to capacity. As a result, there have been sellouts in 11 of the 20 games played at home during the regular season at Sajik.
The previous day (the 6th) marked the end of the actual holiday, and everyone returned to their daily lives, but for Busan Lotte fans, visiting the baseball park was a part of their routine. Lotte, having escaped a three-game losing streak with a 6-0 victory in the previous game, is seeking its second consecutive win in the winning series against SSG in front of a full crowd.
As the bottom of the 6th inning is currently underway, Lotte is leading 5-0 thanks to RAY's three-run homer.
