Um Ji-sung (22, Swansea City) scored the opening goal in the last match of his debut season on the European stage, raising expectations for his performance next season.

Um Ji-sung recorded the opening goal in the first half against Oxford United during the final 46th round home match of the 2024-2025 England Championship (second division) held at the Swansea.com Stadium in Wales, United Kingdom, on the 3rd (Korean time). The team ended the match in a 3-3 draw.

Starting as the left winger in a 4-2-3-1 formation, Um Ji-sung took possession of the ball on the left side of the penalty area in the 23rd minute of the scoreless first half. He quickly dribbled in and shook the net with a curling right-footed shot near the penalty line. This was Um Ji-sung's third goal of the season.

He activated his scoring ability for the first time in a month since the match against Derby County on 5th of last month. In the 82nd minute, Liam Cullen got them back in front again with a header, but just before the end of the match, they conceded a goal to Przemysław Frankowski, ending the match in a 3-3 draw.

After the thrilling exchange, Swansea City added one point, finishing the season in 11th place with 61 points.

Meanwhile, Bae Jun-ho (21) of Stoke City started in the final match against Derby County and played for 88 minutes until he was substituted in the 88th minute. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, and Stoke City ranked 18th with 51 points, successfully avoiding relegation.

Bae Jun-ho finished the season with 3 goals and 5 assists.

Yang Min-hyuk (29) of Queens Park Rangers (QPR) was left out of the lineup for the final match against Sunderland.

After joining Tottenham and being loaned to QPR in January of this year, Yang Min-hyuk recorded 2 goals and 1 assist. QPR finished the season in 15th place with 56 points.
