'The grandson of the wind' Lee Jung-hoo (San Francisco Giants) demonstrated incredible problem-solving ability, supporting San Francisco's big inning.

On Nov. 4 (Korean time), Lee Jung-hoo started as the third center fielder in the home game against the Colorado Rockies at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California, and registered an RBI single in his third at-bat.

Lee Jung-hoo came up in the sixth inning with one out and the bases loaded, trailing 1-3. Facing Colorado right-hander Jake Bird, who violated the pitch clock, he connected solidly with a low sinker clocked at 94.8 miles per hour (152 km) for an RBI single, consolidating the score. It was a moment of narrowing the deficit to 2-3.

Lee Jung-hoo rounded the bases and crossed home plate after a grand slam by the following hitter, Matt Chapman.

San Francisco scored five runs in the sixth inning alone, turning the game from 1-3 to 6-3. Lee Jung-hoo awakened the Giants' lineup.
