Seoul E-Land sounded a dramatic victory bell in enemy territory. In contrast, Seongnam FC faced a critical juncture as they recorded their first loss of the season followed by consecutive defeats.
E-Land achieved a 2-1 comeback victory against Seongnam FC in the away match of the Hana Bank K League 2 2025 Round 10, held at Tancheon Sports Complex on the 4th, thanks to a goal by Jeong Jae-min in stoppage time of the second half.
With this victory, E-Land recorded 20 points (6 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses), moving up to second place. The gap with first-place Incheon United (22 points) with one game less played narrowed to 2 points.
In contrast, Seongnam remained at 16 points (4 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses), dropping to fifth place. After tasting defeat for the first time this season in the previous round against Suwon Samsung, they suffered another blow from E-Land.
Seongnam had a good start. In the 8th minute of the first half, Shin Jae-won’s cross from the right went past the goalkeeper, hitting the crossbar before bouncing out. Hoo Lee, who was in front of the goal, did not miss the opportunity. He scored the opening goal with a diving header.
E-Land brought the game back to square one. In the 26th minute of the first half, Seongnam's defense failed to clear the ball out of the box. Euller captured the loose ball and sliced the net with an accurate left-footed shot.
The tight balance continued. E-Land pressed forward, but struggled to make an impact. In the 28th minute of the first half, Euller’s shot struck the goal post, and a decisive counterattack opportunity in the 31st minute was wasted. Goals were hard to come by in the second half as well.
Just before the end, E-Land turned the game around. In stoppage time of the second half, in a corner kick play, Chae Kwang-hoon delivered a cross, and Jeong Jae-min jumped high to shake the net with a header. It was a comeback goal created by two players inserted by coach Kim Do-kyun. The match concluded with a thrilling victory for E-Land.
At the same time, at Bucheon Sports Complex, Bucheon FC 1995 and Jeonnam Dragons ended in a 2-2 draw. Bucheon remained in 6th place with 15 points (4 wins, 3 draws, 3 losses), while Jeonnam occupied 3rd place with 19 points (5 wins, 4 draws, 4 losses).
Bucheon took the lead first. In the 45th minute of the first half, in a counter-attack opportunity, Galego sprinted with explosive speed before shaking the net. Jeonnam's goalkeeper Choi Bong-jin rushed out to the center line, leaving the goal unguarded, but the last touch from the defense was unfortunate. Bucheon added a second goal from Basani in the 6th minute of the second half, extending their lead to 2-0.
However, in the 9th minute of the second half, Bucheon's Lee Ye-chan was sent off with a direct red card, shifting the momentum. He received a red card in his debut match for fouling the opponent’s decisive counter-attack.
Eventually, Jeonnam succeeded in earning a point. In the 38th minute of the second half, Ho-nan converted a penalty to score a comeback goal, and in stoppage time, Jeong Ji-yong scored a dramatic equalizer, saving the team from defeat. There was no winner in the intense match.
