The batting lineup gained momentum with active movement from the early stages of the game. Kim Jae-hwan's home run, which came during a time they were being pursued, played a significant role.

Doosan Bears manager Lee Seung-yeop praised the powerful hitters who showcased their strength.

Doosan defeated the Samsung Lions 11-6 in an away game at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on the 4th, achieving its first game with all starting players getting hits this season. As a result, Doosan achieved a winning series against Samsung for the first time in 602 days since the home game in Jamsil on Sept. 9-10, 2023.

Doosan, with right-handed pitcher Choi Joon-ho as the starting pitcher, set the batting order with center fielder Jung Soo-bin, right fielder Jake Cave, designated hitter Yang Eui-ji, left fielder Kim Jae-hwan, first baseman Yang Seok-hwan, second baseman Kang Seung-ho, third baseman Oh Myung-jin, catcher Kim Gi-yeon, and shortstop Park Joon-young.

Starting pitcher Choi Joon-ho was shaky, pitching 3⅓ innings with five hits (three home runs allowed), two walks, one strikeout, and five earned runs. The second pitcher, Hong Min-kyu, became the winning pitcher with 1⅔ innings pitched without allowing a run (one hit, one walk, one strikeout). Jake Cave led the offense with two hits in four at-bats, three RBIs, and two runs scored, while Kim Jae-hwan and Park Joon-young contributed by hitting home runs. Yang Seok-hwan recorded two hits and two RBIs.

After the game, manager Lee Seung-yeop said, "The batting lineup gained momentum with active movement from the early stages of the game. Kim Jae-hwan's home run, which came during a time they were being pursued, played a significant role. It was a swing characteristic of Kim Jae-hwan. I also congratulate 'Captain' Yang Eui-ji on his 3,000 career total bases record."

He also noted, "I want to praise Hong Min-kyu's performance on the mound. In a situation where the starting pitcher left the mound early, he broke the opponent's flow with brave pitching."

Doosan will play a three-game series against the LG Twins starting on the 5th at Jamsil Stadium. Manager Lee Seung-yeop stated, "I will ensure that we continue the current momentum and achieve good results in the three-game series on Children's Day."
