The professional baseball LG Twins recorded a sellout for the 14th home game of the season.
LG recorded a sellout of 23,750 fans at the game against the SSG Landers in the 2025 Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League, held on the 3rd at Jamsil Stadium. The LG team noted, "Today's LG-SSG game is sold out. The total attendance is 23,750, with the sellout time at 4:55 p.m. This is the LG Twins' 14th home game sellout of the 2025 season."
LG successfully sold out 14 out of 18 home games. Due to weather forecasts predicting rain, sellouts were missed for the games against Doosan on April 12 and the three-game series against NC from April 23-25.
With this sellout, LG exceeded a total attendance of 400,000 for the season. The total attendance is 405,532. The average attendance per game is 22,529. Despite being on a recent five-game losing streak, the passion of the fans remains strong.
Last year, LG recorded a total attendance of 1,397,499 (73 games), achieving the highest single-season attendance record in KBO history. It remains to be seen if they will break the attendance record again this year.
Meanwhile, LG is leading 4-0 through the fifth inning with timely hits from Austin, a two-RBI double from Moon Bo-kyung, and a timely hit from Park Dong-won.
