Road FC Chairman Jung Moon-hong is struggling locally to capture the culprit of the murder of a Korean national in Angeles, Philippines.
A video of Chairman Jung's visit to the Angeles CIDG office and the Central Luzon Korean National Police Agency was released on his personal YouTube channel, Gao Hyung Life. This was for the capture of the perpetrator involved in a recent murder case of a Korean national, and Chairman Jung released a video on the 30th of last month asking Road FC Philippines' Albert Pero for help in capturing the perpetrator.
Pero, a former Director General of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in the Philippines and a retired general from the Two Star rank, was the CIDG's total director during the filming of the drama Casino. Although now retired, he requested faster capture of the perpetrator by calling his former CIDG juniors and suggested meeting with the Commissioner of Angeles Police.
Chairman Jung immediately visited the Angeles CIDG office with Pero. He received a briefing on the progress of the investigation and learned that the Korean Association had provided a reward of 200,000 pesos (approximately 5 million won) for the capture of the perpetrator. Chairman Jung promised to provide a motivational grant of 500,000 pesos (12 million won) to ensure the capture of the perpetrator.
He then visited the Central Luzon Korean National Police Agency, where Pero, along with Lieutenant Colonel level officials from the One Star CIDG, welcomed him and Chairman Jung. Chairman Jung listened to a general briefing on the investigation that lasted about an hour over the past 10 days with Pero. During this meeting, Chairman Jung once again asked for the capture of the perpetrator.
Chairman Jung said, “Twelve teams have been assigned to capture the perpetrator, and the personnel investigating have not been able to go home for 10 days. I hope we catch the perpetrator quickly. Former General Pero has been working hard every day since taking office as the Road FC Philippines representative, and I will continue to ask for help and make efforts until the perpetrator is caught.”
