The Korea Professional Football Association introduced its K League international business and overseas expansion strategies at the '2025 STF Conference (The 3rd STF Asia Leadership Dialogue).'

The 'STF Conference,' held on the 30th of last month at the Singapore Cricket Club, is an event where various stakeholders from the sports industry, including sports leagues and associations from different countries, media platforms, and sponsoring corporations, gathered to share the latest trends and operational strategies in the industry. Approximately 100 stakeholders from the sports industry attended this conference, which included practical discussions and open networking.

At the conference, Kim Min-joo, Head of Team of the international business team at the association, delivered a presentation on the topic of 'expansion strategies for sports leagues in overseas markets.' During the presentation, Kim introduced ▲ the development process of K League international business, ▲ strategic direction, and ▲ mid- to long-term goals for overseas business. Through this, the international business team shared new growth axes and future visions led by the association with stakeholders in the overseas sports industry, exploring various industrial fields and development possibilities.

Meanwhile, the association has established a new international business team within its secretariat this year, actively working to expand its overseas market. The international business team plans to discover various revenue models, including developing overseas sponsorships, through proactive international marketing. Additionally, the team plans to participate actively in various international stages, including this conference, to enhance the value and brand awareness of K League.
