"O Se-geun's 3-point shot was really big."

Seoul SK defeated the Suwon KT in the second round of the 2024-2025 KCC Professional Basketball playoffs on the 25th at the Seoul Jamshil Student Gymnasium with a score of 86-70.

With this victory, SK recorded two consecutive wins in the playoffs, continuing their smooth progress toward the championship finals. SK's foreign player Jamal Wiggins scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for a double-double, leading the team to victory.

Although SK won the second round, they did not start well, just like in the first round. However, they turned the game around in the third quarter. The one who changed the momentum of the game was the veteran O Se-geun.

O Se-geun recorded 3 points on three 3-point shots that day. Especially, the two 3-point shots made in the third quarter completely changed the flow of the game.

With the score at 46-48, O Se-geun received a pass from Wiggins and hit a 3-point shot. It was a situation that could have wavered. O Se-geun also exploded a 3-point shot in the ensuing offense. SK was once again caught by 2 points with a score from Park Jun-young, but with Wiggins' consecutive points and Ahn Young-jun's 3-point shot, they quickly widened the score gap to 13 points by the end of the third quarter.

O Se-geun, who changed the flow of the game, noted, "In the first game, we seemed to lose our touch after resting. There was also a lot of lack of communication," adding, "Through meetings, the players showed that they could become stronger. From the start, we showed that kind of performance. All of us—from me, the veteran, to the youngest (Kim) Tae-hoon—played the game with one heart."

SK coach Jeon Hee-cheol said, "We started again by giving up 10 points early in the game. However, it was different from the flow of the first game. Today the players did their best. They definitely performed well. Every player who was put in played their role well. O Se-geun's 3-point shot in the third quarter was extremely important. It brought back the momentum that could have slipped away. It was a big role."

O Se-geun discussed the third quarter, saying, "I don’t remember it well…" He added, "I focused on defense and the team play. Personally, that part stands out more for me. I ran hard for the team."

SK secured the victory thanks to the veteran's performance in a playoffs where concentration is vital. In particular, without a heavy physical burden, they are now able to aim for a swift entry into the championship finals.
