Chungbuk Cheongju FC signed a business agreement with the Chungcheongbuk-do Police Agency to mutually cooperate in crime and accident prevention promotion for the safety of residents.
The agreement ceremony, held on the 25th in the meeting room of the Chungbuk Police Agency, was attended by Kim Hyun-joo, CEO of Chungbuk Cheongju FC, and Administrator Kim Hak-gwan of the Chungbuk Police Agency, along with officials from both organizations.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate not only in comprehensive promotion for crime and accident prevention but also in enhancing the welfare of employees affiliated with the Korean National Police Agency and expanding the base of professional football in the region.
Chungbuk Cheongju FC will conduct a traffic safety campaign for children near schools to promote crime prevention activities and is planning to broadcast crime prevention promotional videos using the stadium's electronic display board. Additionally, in public service advertisements, players affiliated with the club will actively participate in the promotion, and during home games, ticket discounts will be offered to employees of the Korean National Police Agency.
Commissioner Kim Hak-gwan of the Chungbuk Police Agency expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for actively cooperating in promotional activities aimed at preventing various crimes that threaten residents’ safety," and noted, "In order to expand the base of professional football in our region, we will work together with Chungbuk Cheongju FC in the future."
Following this, CEO Kim Hyun-joo of Chungbuk Cheongju FC stated, "I am very pleased to have made this meaningful agreement with the Chungcheongbuk-do Police Agency for the safety of residents," and added, "As a professional club representing the region, Chungbuk Cheongju FC has always considered its role beyond simply sports, working together with the community, and through this agreement, we will strive to convey practical social messages regarding children's traffic safety and crime prevention."
Meanwhile, Chungbuk Cheongju FC will play against Cheonan City FC in the Hana Bank K League 2 2025 Round 9 on the 26th at 2 p.m. at Cheonan Sports Complex.
