The Korean professional baseball team Samsung Lions achieved a comeback victory with the power of their batting lineup during an effective bullpen day.

Under the leadership of manager Park Jin-man, the Samsung Lions won 10-6 against the NC Dinos on the 25th at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. With this victory, Samsung climbed to a tie for second place with a record of 15 wins and 12 losses.

In the top of the 6th, they gave up 1 more run to NC, closing the gap to 7-5, but in the 7th inning with 2 outs and the bases loaded, Lee Jae-hee managed to stop the threat and completely shifted the momentum to the latter half of the game. Ultimately, in the bottom of the 8th, Diaz hit a three-run home run to seal the victory.

After the game, manager Park Jin-man said, "Starting pitcher Kim Dae-ho had a tough start by being pulled in the first inning due to control issues, but thanks to the solid performance of Yang Chang-seob and Lee Seung-min who came in from the bullpen, the batting lineup seemed to find its strength."

He continued, "In the top of the 6th, Bae Chan-seung and in the top of the 7th, Lee Jae-hee did well to stop the crisis, and with Diaz's pursuing, comeback, and 3 home runs in the 8th to extend the score, it was a game we could win by breaking the opponent's will to chase." He mentioned, "Overall, it seems the batting sense is improving. I hope we can maintain this rhythm in the remaining weekend games."

Samsung, seizing the momentum, aims for a winning series and a 4-game winning streak over the weekend. Samsung will send Hurado, while NC has announced Lee Yong-chan as their starting pitcher.
