Seoul SK secured a close advance to the championship finals with two consecutive wins in the semifinals.

Seoul SK won 86-68 against Suwon KT in the second game of the 2024-2025 KCC Professional Basketball semifinals held at Seoul Jamshil Student Gymnasium on the 25th.

With this victory, SK recorded two consecutive wins in the semifinals, continuing its smooth progress toward the championship finals. SK's foreign player, Jamil Warney, recorded a double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds, leading the team to victory.

KT started well, similar to the first game. Moon Jeong-hyun and Kagulangan's three-pointers led them to an advantageous position. On the other hand, SK did not start well. Oh Jae-hyun committed a traveling violation, leading to a turnover when they needed a fast break after a rebound.

At 5 minutes and 53 seconds into the first quarter, Hemmons hit a three-pointer, extending KT's lead to 15-5. SK substituted Choi Won-hyuk for Oh Jae-hyun to change the defense on Heo Hoon.

SK's Kim Sun-hyung successfully converted a free throw after a foul on a layup, launching a counterattack. Additionally, Ahn Young-jun's jumper went through the rim, allowing SK to narrow the gap to 15-13. At the end of the first quarter, KT led narrowly at 18-15.

KT failed to capitalize on opportunities to extend their lead. SK tightened the game, showing a counterattack. The first half ended with a score of 40-40.

The situation in the third quarter was not much different. Both SK and KT struggled offensively. However, KT, which held an edge in the rebounding battle, slightly led the game. KT failed to take opportunities to widen the score margin.

SK's Oh Se-geun, receiving a pass from Warney, successfully made a three-pointer, turning the game around to 49-48. SK did not miss this opportunity. After receiving a pass from Kim Sun-hyung, Oh Se-geun hit another three-pointer, extending the lead to 52-48.

Moreover, SK followed up Warney's scoring with Ahn Young-jun successfully making a three-pointer during a fast break, widening the score gap to 61-52 with just over a minute left in the third quarter.

Seizing the opportunity, SK scored a basket in the paint from Warney just before the end of the third quarter, finishing it with a 65-52 lead.

KT also did not show a strong performance in the fourth quarter. They fell behind in the flow of the game dictated by SK. Although SK did not execute a perfect game, the counterattacks from the opponent were weak.

As KT's counterattack quieted down, SK's Warney hit a three-pointer, extending the lead to 70-54. KT's Kagulangan scored a consolation basket but could not change the flow of the game.

In the fourth quarter, around six minutes in, SK began to rotate players in preparation for the third match. KT also played without Heo Hoon. Ultimately, the victory belonged to SK.
