Doosan Bears won their second consecutive game, securing a winning series in the midweek three-game set.

Doosan defeated Kiwoom Heroes 9-3 in a game held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 24th. With this victory, Doosan achieved two consecutive wins and succeeded in securing a winning series, even after losing the first game of the midweek three-game set.

The Doosan batting lineup delivered 11 hits and 2 home runs. Kim Jae-hwan achieved his 3rd home run of the season, and Cave hit his 2nd home run of the season. Kim Jae-hwan went 3-for-5 with 1 home run, 5 runs batted in, and 1 run scored, demonstrating a remarkable performance. He narrowly missed out on achieving a cycling hit due to a lack of doubles. Jeong Soo-bin and Cave also recorded multi-hits.

Starting pitcher Cole Irvin pitched 6 innings, allowing 2 hits, 4 walks, 1 hit by pitch, and striking out 4 without allowing a run, earning his 4th win of the season. Relief pitcher Hong Min-kyu followed with 3 innings pitched, allowing 5 hits, striking out 2, and giving up 3 runs (1 earned), recording a save while securing the team's victory. It was Hong Min-kyu's first career save.

Doosan's Jeong Soo-bin reached base with a hit as the leadoff batter in the first inning. Cave was caught by a fly ball in left field, but Yang Eui-ji hit a single, creating a 1-out, 1st and 2nd base opportunity. Yang Seok-hwan's well-hit ball was caught by center fielder Park Joo-hong's excellent defense, but Kim Jae-hwan struck a 2-RBI triple to score the first run. In the third, Jeong Soo-bin reached base after being hit by a pitch as the leadoff batter. Cave hit a 2-run home run, quickly making it 4-0.

In the fourth inning, leadoff batter Kang Seung-ho reached base after being hit by a pitch. Doosan advanced to third base due to a stolen base and a throwing error by the catcher. After Jeon Tae-hyun's hit, Byeon Sang-gwon hit a sacrifice fly, but Park Joo-hong struck out, ending the game.
